Abstract: Agrilus planipennis Fairmaire is an invasive pest, found in different trees, doing great damage to forests. In this paper, advances on its morphological characteristic, distribution and control methods are mentioned. The control methods include ecological controlling, physical, biological and chemical controlling etc. Among these controlling methods, ecological controlling and biological controlling are the sustainable ones. It is supposed to put emphasis on distribution and evaluation of parasitic wasps to do biological control and spatial distribution, rearing, usage of natural enemies of Agrilus planipennis Fairmaire.
