Abstract: The objective was to study the effect of triming stress on the bud artemisinine content. Under triming and normal growth, six artemisiae annie were selected to study the effect of triming stress on the bud artemisinine content, bud fresh weight, leaf total lavonoids content, chlorophyll content, phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL), and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEP) in artemisiae annie. The experiment was conducted with three replications. The bud artemisinine content, bud fresh weight, leaf total lavonoids content, chlorophyll content, PAL, and PEP among artemisiae annie increased under trimming growth, comparing with normal growth. Differences of them in artemisiae annie were significant between triming and normal growth.
