Abstract: The relationship between seeding and transplanting time and quality and style of tobacco leaves were studied with field experiment, farmer’s demonstration and chemical analysis. The results showed that, with the deferring of seeding and transplanting time, tobacco growth were quickened, plant model were augmented, tobacco growth period especially roots extending period were shorten. The yield and value of product were raised distinctly, with the transplanting date deferring, but its effects to average price were not remarkable. Nicotine content and the ratio of total nitrogen to nicotine were increased, and the other chemical component hadn’t disciplinary changes. The tobacco leaf style were changed from delicate aroma style to middle or strong aroma style, and the sensory test were descended, as the deferring of the seeding and transplanting time. It was favorable for sensory test improving with the predating of seeding and transplanting time, but it was integrant to regulating plant measure for yield and quality of tobacco leaves preserving.
