Abstract: In this paper, it selects the Larix gmelini Community at the Greater Higgnan Mountains as the object of this study to analyze the spatial distribution population patterns and community structure from the stand scale. The major results of this article were hereby described as follows: The tree layer species composition was simple and obvious hierarchy in Greater Higgnan Mountains forest communities, mainly larch, birch, aspen, pine and so on. The density of this community was difference, and the distribution range of 340-2040 plants/hm2. The space distribution of dominant populations of Greater Higgnan Mountains was mainly aggregated distribution, followed by uniform distribution, randomly distributed less likely.
