Research Progress on Hydrodynamic Parameters and Its Affecting Factors

Abstract: As the direct water supply for the growth of plants, soil water is the necessary condition for agricultural production. Researching soil water’s hydrodynamic parameter and its affecting factors has instructive meaning for farmland soil water’s regulation and high-efficient utilization, as same as water and soil conservation and so on. Based on current research achievements on soil water home and abroad, the author especially discussed recently researching progress of some main hydrodynamic parameters, such as soil water constant, characteristic curve, soil moisture and so on. The author clarified the porosity, quality, instructor and levels of organic material in the soil are key elements of soil water’s hydrodynamic parameter. In this article, the author also showed opinion on what direction soil water’s research would incline to in the future.
