Abstract: its thermo-resistant mechanism were introduced in this paper．Besides．the research progress in the breeding of heat-resistance ethanol yeast by high temperature domestication、natural breeding、mutation breeding、protoplast infusion and genome shuffling Was illustrated,especially the theory of genome shuffling techniques and its advantages in the breeding of heat-resistance ethanol yeast were induced.The combination of genome shuffling techniques、traditional microbial breeding techniques and modem biotech could greatly increase breeding efficiency of heat-resistance ethanol yeast．
