The Improvement of Mechanism of Detoxification of Aluminum for Organic Acids

Abstract: Aluminum toxicity is the main reason to limit the plant growth in acidic soil and forest degradation. In the acid soil, some plant species and cultivars have evolved some mechanisms for detoxifying Al both internally and externally. It is a hot field in aluminum tolerance research that organic acids secrete detoxification of aluminum under the induced aluminum. The paper reviewed organic acids’kinds which secreted by the plant’s root and the mechanism of aluminum detoxification, furthermore, reviewed the identification of organic acids channel protein gene, cloning and the functional analysis etc; at the same time pointed out that the plant resistance to aluminum toxicity was polygenic control complex features, therefore, from the aspects of aluminum resistance gene expression regulation in-depth research, to effectively reveal the mechanism of plant resistance to aluminum.
