The Application Progress of Magnetic Technology in Agriculture and Forestry

Abstract

Abstract: In order to analyze the magnetization effect on plant growth, soil and irrigation water in arid areas, the author summarized research done in almost last 10 years and found the magnetized water could significantly increase the effect of desalination. Its application had advantages of alleviating salt damage on plant, promoting plant growth, yield and quality, improving water and soil nutrient use efficiency, and reducing fertilization use. The mechanism of magnetized water and the technical parameters on its application to agriculture were still unclear. Further study on its mechanism should be done to determine the technical parameters, then to popularize the application of this technology in agricultural ecological remediation.
