Abstract: In order to study the best method for tissue culture and rapid propagation for Weigela coraeensis, this paper investigated the effects of different hormone combination on induction, reduplication and rooting of sterile shoots. The optimum culture media for rapid propagation of Weigela coraeensis was obtained and the results showed that the same media, that was MS+ 1.0 mg/L 6-BA+ 0.1 mg/L NAA+5 g/L active carbon+ 30 g/L sucrose + 8 g/L agar, could be used for the induction, reduplication, differentiation and rooting of sterile shoots. It provided an efficient method of in vitro rapid propagation for Weigela coraeensis.
