The Study of Rapid Multiplication and Water Saving Seedling Technology of Pinus sylvestris in Greenhouse in Minqin Sandy Land

Abstract: In order to show the technology of rapid multiplication and water saving seedling in greenhouse, the difference between field seedling and greenhouse seedling of Pinus sylvestris, the technology with rapid multiplication and water saving seedling are studied in Minqin sandy land. It showed that: greenhouse seedling possessed absolute advantage in seedling emergence rate and cultivation period, while the degree of influence from different season was relatively less, it could be seeded in every season, the average seedling emergence rate was over 82.56%. Greenhouse seedling provided relatively well condition for the growth of height and ground diameter than field seedling. The soil moisture content was higher than field seedling 4.79%, the water consumption was 119.51 mm in 127 days, the water consumption intensity was 0.94 mm/d, the water consumption accounts for about one-third of total water consumption in nearly half of the period, water consumption was 208.59 mm in 129 days, water consumption intensity was 1.62 mm/d. water consumption accounted for about two-third of total water consumption in nearly half of the period. The water resources were scarce in Minqin sandy land, improving the management level above seedling, cultivating high quality and high adaptability of nursery stock through studying the water consumption regular of Pinus sylvestris in greenhouse. It had great significance for appropriate use of limited water resources.
