Abstract: Indentify the primary indexes of Fagopyrum eseculentum yield and provide academic evidence for germplasm evaluation innovation of Fagopyrum eseculentum. 34 Fagopyrum eseculentum varieties were used to investigate the variation of agronomic traits and yield of Fagopyrum eseculentum. The correlation, path analysis, principal components analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were conducted. Results showed that, the variation coefficient of agronomic traits and yield of Fagopyrum eseculentum reached 13.3%-44.0%, and the yield had a extremely significant positive correlation with plant height, grain number per plant and grain weight per plant, and a significant positive correlation with stem section number and branch number, but no significant correlation with 1st internode length and 1000-grain weight, grain weight per plant. Stem section number, grain number per plant and branch number were primary indexes of Fagopyrum eseculentum yield.
