Abstract: In order to study the number, quality and spatial distribution of available land resources of Qingyang City, the author used GIS spatial analysis techniques to lay over the current land use maps, elevation digital model diagram, slope grading spatial, calculated the available land resources in Qingyang City, and used SPSS to abundant graded. The results showed that: the available resources land area of Qingyang City was 3848.61 km², the per capita area of land resources available was 0.14 hm²/person. The available land resources were relatively abundant, but each county distribution was uneven, the quality of available land resources was poor, the restriction factors of land use were more and difficult.
