Abstract: The study was conducted to investigate the effect of inorganic salts concentrations and culture methods on the proliferation of Gardenia jasminoides, in order to supply theoretical bases for large-scale and rapid production. Gardenia jasminoides plantlets in vitro were used as experiment materials. The results showed that the standard MS strength (1.0 MS) was optimal. In addition, 60 mmol/L nitrogen and 40 mmol/L NO3- mixed 20 mmol/L NH4+ in medium were the most appropriate for proliferation of Gardenia jasminoides plantlets in vitro. Ebb and flood bioreactor culture was the most suitable culture method.
