Abstract: The experiment was to study the effect of different levels of cellulase on the quality of silage of the banana stem and wheat bran. The present test set 4 groups in the modulation of banana stem and wheat bran with mass ratio of mixed silage of 9:1, including 1 contrast group (WB) and the other 3 treatment groups adding different levels of cellulase respectively: 0.05 g/kg cellulase (WB-CEL1), 0.15 g/kg cellulase (WB-CEL2) and, 0.25 g/kg cellulase (WB-CEL3). At the same time modulation of banana stem single storage was set (CON). Each treatment was repeated 3 times. After ensilage for 60 days under normal temperature, the four groups were unsealed for assessing the quality of silage. The results were as follows: (1)Compared with the control group, pH, GLR and NDF of the WB group reduced (P<0.01). (2)Compared with the WB group, DM and DMR of three CEL groups increased (P<0.01), AN/TN reduced (P<0.01). (3)Compared with the 0.05 g/kg group, AN/TN of the 0.15 g/kg group and the 0.25 g/kg group reduced (P<0.05), WSC increased (P<0.05). (4) Compared with the 0.15 g/kg group, NDF of the 0.25 g/kg group reduced (P<0.01). This study showed that the mixed silage of banana stem and wheat bran was better than the single storage of the banana stem. The quality of silage could be significantly improved with the different levels of cellulase in banana stem and wheat bran, and adding 0.25 g/kg cellulase was the best.
