Abstract: To improve the water use efficiency of wheat, three irrigation decision-making ways, including Prwin software decisions, Peng Man formula, experience irrigation (control), were set to study their effects on yield, water production efficiency and related properties of wheat. Results showed that, under the Prwin irrigation decision-making way, wheat irrigation amount during the whole growing period was 2151.0 m3/hm2, saving 699.0 m3/hm2 compared with control; plant height, flag leaf and panicle traits showed no significant difference compared with control; the yield reached 7401.4 kg/hm2, with an increase of 7.8% compare with control; water use efficiency of wheat was 1.80 kg/m3, with an increase of 26.8% compared with control. Under Peng Man formula way, compared with control, 400.5 m3/hm2 irrigation amount was saved, with yield increase of 4.2% and water use efficiency increase of 4.1%.
