Durations of Disclosing Plastic Film on the Nutrient Absorbing, Yield and Quality of Flue-cured Tobacco Under High Fertility Field

Abstract: In order to confirm the durations of disclosing plastic film in the tobacco field with high soil fertility, the effects of duration of film-covering were studied on soil nutrient, tobacco biomass, and quality through the field experiment. The results showed that, tobacco grew well and gained better quality without additional nitrogenous fertilizer in the tobacco field with high soil fertility. Soil nutrient losing under film-covering was less than that without film-covering. Tabcco with film-covering treatment had higher biomass and weight per leaf than those without film-covering. Film removing in 63 days benefited plant growth, and had the highest biomass comparatively, while film-covering for whole growth period restrained the plant growth in late period.
