Abstract: Stripe rust is one of the most devastating diseases in common wheat. The appliance of resistant cultivars is the most economical, safety and efficient means to control the disease. Resistance cultivars easily lose resistance because that the wheat Puccinia striiformis f. sp. Tritici has high genetic variability. It is significant to explore the new resistant resource and expand wheat genetic basis in resistance breeding work. The sources and distributions of 57 stripe rust genes are concluded in the paper. The genes from primary, secondary and tertiary GenBank are reviewed and suggested. Furthermore, the authors analyzed the utilization of stripe rust resistance source.
