Abstract: To find out how the temperature and light resources in Jinghuai Region influence the seeding quality, growth process, tillering dynamics, field resistance and yield components of medium ndica hybrid rice, the authors selected and used medium indica hybrid rice with different breeds and different mature period. By planting them in different time, the authors identified the appropriate planting period of the medium indica hybrid rice with high yield and quality in Jinghuai Region. The results showed that the rice planted after May 15th, with delay of planting date, had longer growth process, fewer tillers and lower yield, so the medium indica hybrid rice shouldn’t be planted after May 15th in Jianghuai Region, the most appropriate planting period was from April 15th to May 15th.
