Abstract: The distribution of chlorine contents of flue-cured tobacco and its influencing factors were analyzed in order to understand their characteristics in Qianxinan. The results showed that the range of variation of chlorine content in the flue-cured tobacco leaf was 0.24%-0.43%, the mean content was 0.30% and belonged to good-chlorine tobacco-planting areas. The chlorine content of flue-cured tobacco in Zhenfeng Country was significantly higher than that of other counties. The spatial distribution of chlorine content had a tendency of decreasing gradually from the northeast to southwest. The chlorine content of‘Xingyan1’was significantly higher than that of‘K326’. The chlorine content in flue-cured tobacco had an increasing trend along with increasing of soil clay content and soil organic matter content. When soil pH was 5.2-6.8, along with soil pH rising, the chlorine content in flue-cured tobacco had an increasing trend; when soil pH was 6.8-7.5 or below 5.2, along with soil pH rising, the chlorine content in flue-cured tobacco had a falling trend.
