Research Progress on Navel Orange Preservation

Abstract: In recent years, navel orange industry has been developing rapidly in China, and its preservation technology has made a great progress. The author summarized the postharvest physiological characteristics and analyzed the new preservation technology at home and foreign countries, including on tree storage, heat treatment, plant extracts, biological antagonistic bacteria and genes engineering technology, and discussed the research directions of preservation technology of navel orange.
