Abstract: In order to study the effect of recreational fishery industry on other industries, Zhejiang Province was taken for example and gray relational analysis was used to analyze how recreational fishery industry promoted the development of other industries systematically. It finally came to the conclusion that recreational fishery industry was in high correlation with culture, sports and entertainment industry, finance industry and hotels and catering services. The level of correlation between recreational fishing industry and culture, sports and entertainment industry was 0.9012, which was the highest among all industries. At the same time, recreational fishing industry was in moderate correlation with information transmission, computer services and software industry, transportation, warehousing and postal service industry and aquaculture industry. The level of correlation between recreational fishing industry and aquaculture industry was 0.5793, which was the lowest. It demonstrated that problems such as inadequate use of resources and difficulties of changing traditional ideas still existed in the development of recreational fishery in China. And it also indicated that the development of recreational fishery was closely related to the development of other industries such as culture and sports industry as well as the financial and subsidy policy of the government. The results provided suggestions for the future development and research of recreational fishing industry.
