Abstract: The paper aims to ascertain the best seed treatment method of mechanized transplanting rice, and provide a theoretical basis for popularizing of mechanized transplanting rice and achieving high yield. Effects of different seed treatments (germination or dressing Hanyubaomu) on seedling quality of mechanized transplanting rice under the field trial conditions were studied in 2014. The results showed that the sprouting rate of the mechanized transplanting rice seedlings could be appropriately improved under germination conditions and dressing Hanyubaomu, and dressing and dry Hanyubaomu can significantly increase the thickness of the seedlings, inhibited seedling growth, increased leaf years, promoted root bold. Germination treatments were not significant on aerial part of seedling, but it could significantly promote the growth of seedling root and root length. So, germination and mixing Hanyubaomu could improve the quality of seedlings, and was the best way for raising seedlings of mechanized transplanting rice.
