Abstract: In order to establish the health evaluation system of Pinus tabulaeformis, and to solve the problem of managing and protecting the natural Pinus tabulaeformis forest, a study was conducted in Beijing Songshan Nature Reserve Natural Pinus tabulaeformis forest, Yanqing County, Beijing, by randomly selecting 50 natural Pinus tabulaeformis samples from the experimental area. The authors evaluated the health standards of Pinus tabulaeformis respectively from the nutrition indexes, including the content of total N, total P, and total K of annual pine needle, the content of total N, total P, and total K of biennial pine needle. The results were as follows: regarding natural Pinus tabulaeformis of Beijing Songshan Nature Reserve Natural Pinus tabulaeformis as the research objects, the evaluation of the health of each index was carried out through the expert evaluation method, the Pinus tabulaeformis nutrition index health evaluation system was established, and the health condition of Pinus tabulaeformis was divided into 3 levels: healthy, sub-healthy and unhealthy. The evaluation result showed that healthy Pinus tabulaeformis accounted for 80%, sub-healthy Pinus tabulaefornmis accounted for 14%, and unhealthy Pinus tabulaefornmis accounted for 6%.
