Abstract: In order to analyze salt resistant levels of different nectarine varieties, provide foundation for salt tolerance breeding research, the potted nectarine seedlings of‘Huaguang’(H) were used as materials for the study on the changing tendency of physiological index in the stem under different salt stress levels. The results showed that the index of nectarine stem had no significant change under the stress of 0.4% NaCl, the relevant indicators were affected with 0.8% NaCl in the late period. With 1.2% level of NaCl, the index had significant difference in prophase, indicating that salt environment was the limit to the plants. Based on this, the potted seedlings of‘Huaguang’(H),‘Zhongyoutao 4’(Z),‘Yanguang’(Y),‘Qiannianhong’(Q),‘Meiguihong’(M) were used as materials, the physiological index changes were analyzed under stress of 1.2% NaCl solution to research salt resistant levels of different varieties of nectarine. The results indicated that the performance also varied considerably among different cultivars under salt stress, the sequence of the salt tolerance of yellow flesh cultivars was Z>Q; the sequence of the salt resistance of white flesh cultivars were H>Y, M>H; and the sequence of the salt resistance of white flesh cultivars was stronger than that of yellow flesh cultivars.
