Research Progress of Pollen Allergy

Abstract

Abstract: Pollen is one of the important allergens in allergic diseases. Pollinosis is a kind of environmental disease, whose occurrence is caused by many factors, including pollen species and variety, environment and human heredity. The incidence of pollen allergy has increased year by year recently. Pollen allergy is harmful to human health and affects people’s life quality. In order to provide some clues for further research on pollen allergy, the author reviewed recent research progress of major pollen species and variety, purification and analysis of pollen allergens, pollen allergic animal model, and treatment of pollinosis, and made an outlook on the research direction of pollen allergy in the future.
