Non-Mendelian Inheritance Patterns: Advances in Epigenetics and Its Application

Abstract: To clarify the application of epigenetics in the process of human disease development, research content of epigenetics was reviewed. Then the molecular regulation mechanism of DNA methylation, histone modification, chromatin remodeling and non-coding RNA in the process of related diseases including cancer, alzheimer’s disease, atherosclerosis, and diabetes and other human diseases were reviewed. The results will help to further understand the pathogenesis of related diseases and its molecular regulation mechanism.
