Effect of Different Cow Dung Application Amounts on‘Honghuadajinyuan’ Tobacco Yield and Quality

Abstract: In order to manifest the clean aroma characteristic of‘Honghuadajinyuan’in alpine region of Zhenghe, the effect of different application amounts of cow dung on‘Honghuadajinyuan’tobacco yield and quality was studied. The results showed that in terms of agronomic traits, the treatment of 2250 kg/hm2 had the best performance, and then was the treatment of 1500 kg/hm2. In terms of appearance quality, the appearance performance was improved with the increase of cow dung application amount. In terms of chemical component, the treatment of 1500 kg/hm2 had more coordinate inherent quality, and all the inherent quality indicators were in appropriate range. In terms of economic traits, the treatment of 1500 and 2250 kg/hm2 had better performance. The application of cow dung could increase agronomic traits of tobacco, the application amount of 1500 kg/hm2 had more coordinate chemical component, and the clean aroma characteristic was more prominent, which showed that‘Honghuadajinyuan’had certain variety advantages. It is suggested that the cow dung application amount should be in appropriate range, and not be increased only in pursuit of high yield.
