Analysis on Sunshine Time Variation Characteristics andInfluencing Factor Thereof in Shouguang

Abstract: Meteorological data in Shouguang from 1960 to 2014, including sunshine, wind speed, precipitation, total cloud cover, relative humidity, etc., are selected in order to reveal sunshine time change rules and characteristics in Shouguang. Linear trend estimation, cumulative departure, signal-to-noise ratio and other methods are adopted for statistically analyzing sunshine time variation characteristics and its influencing factors of Shouguang in recent 55 years. Results show that annual sunshine time of Shouguang is significantly reduced, climate tendency rate is 66.15 h / 10 a; wherein reduction trend in summer is the most significant, climate tendency rate is -26.52h/10a, reduction trend in spring is not obvious; Sunshine time decadal change is significantly reduced in "ladder" shape, and climate tendency rate is 71.68 h/10 a; annual sunshine time from January to December is reducing, reduction in June is the most obvious. The tendency rate is 10.65 h/10 a. Season and annual sunshine time in Shouguang do not have significant mutations in the changing process with time. Annual sunshine time has negative correlation with annual precipitation, precipitation duration, total cloud cover and vapor pressure, and positive correlation with average wind speed, relative humidity and fog days. Correlation between sunshine time and various meteorological factors varies with different seasons. Average wind speed and total cloud cover become important meteorological factors affecting significant reduction of annual and seasonal sunshine time in Shouguang.
