Construction and Analysis of Natural Population Life Table of Hyphantria cunea

Abstract: In order to study the natural population dynamics of Hyphantria cunea, the acting factors were used to build a life table of natural populations of Hyphantria cunea in three generations within a year, and the life table was studied and discussed. The results showed that the population trend indexes of the first and third generation were 230.93 and 43.97, which were the maximum and minimum, respectively. Parasite enemy was the important factor influencing the first and second generation of Hyphantria cunea, and both natural death and parasite enemy were the important factor influencing the third generation. Furthermore, exclusion index of population control (EIPC) of parasite enemy of the first generation was the lowest (1.150), and that of the third generation was the highest (1.862). Chouioia cunea (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) was the dominant species. The results provide a theoretical basis for the comprehensive prevention and forecast of Hyphantria cunea.
