Abstract: In order to study the effect of carbon-based compound fertilizer (carbon-based fertilizer) on nitrogen(N), phosphorus(P) and potassium(K) absorption and yield, taking hybrid rice ‘Zhuliangyou 819’ as the experimental material, we set up field experiments using randomized block design in 2014 and 2015. The results showed that the utilization ratio of nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and potassium fertilizer under carbon-based fertilizer treatments increased by 5.6%, 4.3% and 7.6%, respectively, compared with that under ordinary fertilizer treatment in 2014. The utilization ratio of nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and potassium fertilizer under carbon-based fertilizer treatments increased by 6.3%, 6% and 8.5% respectively, compared with that under ordinary fertilizer treatment in 2015. Carbon-based fertilizer treatments increased the rice yield by 1.75% in 2014 and 1.41% in 2015, respectively, in comparing with ordinary fertilizer treatment. The improved fertilizer utilization order of carbon-based compound fertilizer was P fertilizer>K fertilizer>N fertilizer. In conclusion, carbon-based compound fertilizer can improve bioavailability of N, P and K, and rice fertilizer utilization, thus to enhance rice yield.
