Heat Damage: the Effect to Rice in Heading and Flowering Period in Nanchong Nearly 34 Years

Abstract: The paper aims to explore the effect to Rice in heading and flowering period and the temporal distribution characteristics of Nanchong in the past 34 years, the author uses the ground observation data and the rice growth stage observation data from 1981 to 2014 of the seven national weather stations of Nanchong to research and analyse. The results showed that: the rice heading and flowering around Nanchong mainly in mid-July to early August; in nearly 34 years, the lightest heat damage to rice in heading and flowering period was found in YiLong, but the heaviest heat damage to rice in heading and flowering period was found in three municipality district, the second were YingShan and PengAn, again were XiChong and NanBu, finally was LangZhong; although, most of time, minor heat damage to rice in heading and flowering was found in the past 34 years, followed by moderate and severe finally; in nearly 34 years, the heat damage to rice in heading and flowering period have obvious increase trend, especially should strengthen the monitoring of the heat damage to rice in heading and flowering period in the three municipality district.
