Evaluation of 17 Introduction Peanut Varieties in Xinjiang Based on Grey Relational Analysis

Abstract: The aim was to provide basis for screening peanut varieties suitable for cultivation in Xinjiang. This study applied the grey system theory correlation degree analysis to analyze 11 agronomic traits of 17 peanut varieties, including biological yield per plant, height of main stem, total branching number, length of first branches, effective length of first branches, stem thickness, pod number, pod yield, 100-pod weight, 100-seed weight and pod number 500 g. Grey correlation from high to low was shown as follows‘0215A’>‘Yu hua9327’>‘HZ-224’>‘Wei hua 8 ’>‘Kai nong 37’>‘Fu hua 11’>‘Tian fu 9’>‘Hai hua 1’>‘Xin hui xiao li’>‘Wei hua11 ’>‘Bai sha1016’>‘Ji hua 4’>‘Kai nong hei ’>‘Zhan hong 2’>‘Wei hua 12’>‘Yue you si li bai’>‘Yuan za 9307’.‘0215A’,‘Yu hua 9327’,‘HZ-224’,‘Wei hua 8’and‘Kai nong 37’had excellent comprehensive traits, and were suitable for planting in Xinjiang.
