Abstract: To systematically understand the temperature effect of different kinds of insecticides with different mechanisms to Apolygus lucorum, the toxicities of eight kinds of insecticides to the third instar nymphs of A. lucorum were measured at 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35℃ by food-dipping method. And a comprehensive analysis was conducted using the results combined with the previous study. The results showed that acetylcholine receptor activator (imidacloprid and acetamiprid), chitin synthesis inhibitor (hexaflumuron), chloride ion channel activator (avermectin) and chloride ion channel inhibitor (fipronil) showed a strong positive temperature effect. The temperature effects of sodium channel control agents were relative complexed. β-cypermethrin showed a strong negative temperature effect, fenvalerate was not affected by temperature and λ-cyhalothrin showed a weak negative temperature effect. Temperature did not have effect on other pesticides. The results showed that except the sodium channel control agents which have complex temperature effects, temperature effects of other insecticides all showed strong regularity according to their mechanisms.
