Abstract: Based on data of thunderstorm days in Heze, linear trend analysis, Mann-Kendall methods and Morlet wavelet analysis, etc. were adopted to analyze the climatic distribution characteristics of thunderstorm days. The results showed that: from 1964 to 2013, the number of thunderstorm days distributed evenly in every county of Heze; from the mid-1960s, the annual number of thunderstorm days reduced significantly with a linear trend of 2.9 d/10 a; the reducing number of thunderstorm days was a mutation phenomenon, it began in 1981. In 7 years’level, the sequence of thunderstorm day in Heze had a 15-year’s oscillation; in 20 years’ level, the sequence of thunderstorm day in Heze had a 40-year’s oscillation.
