A Review of Genetic Diversity of Wheat Crops in China

Abstract

Abstract: In order to understand the genetic characteristics and genetic differences of wheat germplasm resources in China, thus to prove the influencing factors of germplasm genetic diversity, and widen the genetic basis of existing germplasm resources. This article summarized the meaning and research significance of genetic diversity, summed up the wheat crop genetic diversity research and progress from the aspects of morphology, cytology, biochemical level and molecular biology. It also analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different methods in studying the wheat genetic diversity. At last, it pointed out the problems existing in the wheat crop genetic diversity research, put forward a proposal that the results of a variety of molecular markers combined with other methods are more reliable.
