Abstract: To further reveal the variation regularity of ultraviolet radiation, and provide better service for production and life, based on solar ultraviolet radiation observation data of Xilinhaote National Climate Observatory in 2007- 2012, we analyzed the solar ultraviolet radiation variation and its relationship with meteorological factors in different cloud conditions in Xilinhote by using the mathematical and statistical method and SPSS 11.5 software. The results showed that: the solar ultraviolet radiation had obvious diurnal, seasonal and annual variation; the solar ultraviolet radiation was weak in the morning and evening, but strong at noon, reached the highest value from June to August, and was the lowest in November and December; and had significant correlation with the total solar radiation, photosynthetically active radiation, air temperature, air humidity and ground temperature (0-5 cm). At present, the strongest value of ultraviolet radiation intensity (UV- B) from January to March and from October to December was 0.20- 1.91 W/m2, 0.13- 1.43 W/m2, respectively, which were lower than the safety standard for human and animal (2 W/m2), but the strongest value from April to September was 2.02-3.39 W/m2, which was easy to pose a threat and harm to people and animals.
