Abstract: To explain the diversity of herbaceous plants in Changting waste mine after ecological remediation, and provide a scientific basis for vegetation recovery and rebuilding, pig farm biogas slurry irrigation was conducted in waste mine after ecological remediation in Hetian, Changting, sample plots were set to investigate plant species composition and analyze herbaceous diversity. The results showed that in the study area, there were 12 herbal species belonged to 7 families and 12 categories; the diversity indexes (Simpson index, Shannon- Wiener index and Pielou evenness index) increased with the increase of altitude; the diversity indexes of the sunny slope were greater than that of the shady slope; in the same slope aspect, the diversity indexes of the slope with pig farm biogas slurry irrigation were greater than that without irrigation.
