Abstract: To solve the problem of buckwheat breeds degradation, hybridization seriousness, and low yield level in Tibet, 13 buckwheat breeds were introduced in Lhasa from 2014 to 2016, buckwheat breeds of high yield and stable quality were chosen by cultivation experiments. The results showed that the yield of planted breeds in different years had significant difference. And the average yield of‘Yunqiao No.2’was the highest, with an average of 3597.6 kg/hm2, which were 51% higher than that of control group. In addition, the yield was positively correlated with 1000-grain weight according to correlation analysis. The high stability evaluation (HSCi ) indicated that the breeds of‘Yunqiao No.2’and‘Xiqiao No.5’had the highest yield, stability and adaptability, while the breeds of‘Jinkuqiao No.2’and‘Yunqiao No.1’had the relatively high yield, stability and adaptability. The study provides a theoretical basis for the identification and demonstration of buckwheat breeds in Tibet.
