Seedling Techniques of Quercus acutissima Seedling Anvil Grafted Container

Abstract: For reasonable use and oriented cultivation ofQuercus acutissima , the techniques ofQ.acutissima seedling anvil grafted container are studied. 35 trees ofQ.acutissima were selected as plus trees, the average height was 4.0 m, with the average DBH of 7.8 cm, and the average crown length of 3.24 m; the authors cultivated 2053 seedlings ofQ.acutissima , including 800 container seedlings and 1253 bare rooted seedlings. The 800 container seedlings were processed with different concentrations of GGR6 and planted on different container mediums. The results showed that mediums and concentrations of GGR6 had significant influence on ground diameter, height and survival rate of container seedlings. There were significant differences in growth indexes of container seedlings by using different base container mediums and different concentrations of GGR6. In conclusion, the growth ofQ.acutissima is the best when the concentration of GGR6 is 10 mg/L and the loess: plant ash ratio is 1:1, under which the survival rate reaches 98%, the height reaches 62.27 cm and the ground diameter reaches 6.88 mm.
