Physiological Indexes of Wheat Varieties Under Salt Stress: The Change Law

Abstract: This objective is to provide a theoretical basis for wheat breeding and identification under salt stress. 18 wheat varieties commonly used in Cangzhou of Hebei are selected as test materials, and treated with 0 mmol/L NaCl and 150 mmol/L NaCl. The proline content, chlorophyll content and the membrane permeability are detected. The results showed that under salt stress, chlorophyll content, cell membrane permeability and proline content of different varieties had different responses to NaCl stress.‘Cangmai 6005 bald’and‘Cangmai 6005-1’,‘Cangmai 6005-2’and‘Cangmai 6005-3’had better salt tolerance. The changes of chlorophyll content, cell membrane permeability and proline content are closely related to salt resistance of wheat after salt treatment.
