Abstract: The aim is to provide references for the breeding and cultivation of wheat under limited water in Cangzhou. 10 varieties in Hebei were used as materials, field investigation and indoor test were combined to analyze the effects of irrigation amount on yield, yield composition, heading rate and plant height of different varieties. The results showed that the yields increased with the increasing watering times, and the average yields of the three treatments were significantly different (P<0.05). The yield of 0 watering was the lowest, 4462.18 kg/hm2. The yield of 1 watering was 5668.53 kg/hm2. The yield of 2 watering was the highest, up to 6707.87 kg/hm2, increased by 18.34 % compared with that of 1 watering, and increased by 27.03% compared with that of 0 watering. The number of ears, the number of grain per ear, 1000-grain weight, ears rate and plant height of wheat increased with the increasing of irrigation amount. In Cangzhou, under no watering, the production lost is 80-115 kg.
