Abstract: The paper aims to establish a rapid breeding system of Fraxinus velutina. Taking the stem segment with axillary buds as materials, we explored the effects of basic medium, plant growth regulator concentrations and ratios on the rapid propagation for tissue culture of Fraxinus velutina. The results showed that: MS and DKW could both be used as the basic medium for the tissue culture of Fraxinus velutina; the best multiplication culture medium was MS+ 0.5 mg/L TDZ+0.5 mg/L 6-BA+0.5 mg/L IBA with the average coefficient of multiplication of 7.1, and the optimal seedling medium was MS+0.1 mg/L KT+0.5 mg/L TDZ+ 0.01 mg/L NAA and the average seedling height was 7.15 cm
