Abstract: To explore the effects of major agronomic traits on the yield per plant of mung bean, the grey relation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the agronomic traits and yield of 15 mung bean varieties. The results showed that major agronomic traits were related to yield per plant in the following sequence: pod number per plant> plant height> main stem node> 100-seed weight> the seed number per pod> branch number of main stem> growth period. Therefore, the pod number per plant and plant height should be taken into consideration first in variety breeding and selection in Shanxi Province.
