Abstract: The moisture variation trend of 0-30 cm soil in Guide, Qinghai was analyzed based on the arid farmland soil moisture data of Guide weather bureau from 2002 to 2017. The results showed that the soil moisture of 0-30 cm layer in arid farmland decreased significantly in spring during 2002 to 2017, and that in autumn was stable. The annual change of soil moisture was obvious in spring and autumn, the soil moisture of 0-30 cm in each layer presented a very significant decreasing trend in spring, but in autumn, the soil moisture of 0-10 cm showed a weak interannual increasing trend, the soil moisture of 10-20 and 20-30 cm decreased slightly, and the soil moisture of each layer was larger than that of spring. The soil moisture of 0-30 cm in each spring month had an interannual decreasing trend, but the changing of soil moisture in autumn months was not obvious. The temperature increased significantly in both spring and autumn, the change of precipitation was relatively stable in spring, and had an insignificant increase in autumn.
