Abstract: To investigate the change of transcription factors’response to drought stress in rice and their potential regulatory mechanism, the data of gene chips on drought resistance of rice from GEO database were integrated. The differential genes were screened out by analyzing the data of gene chips with TAC software. And the relative transcription factors were selected with online database DAVID 6.8 and Plant TF DB. 9 transcription factor genes (7 up- regulated and 2 down- regulated at the transcription level) in droughtsusceptible varieties and 34 (23 up-regulated and 11 down-regulated at the transcription level) in droughttolerant varieties had the same direction of expression. Between drought-susceptible varieties and droughttolerant varieties, 8 overlapping transcription factors had the same direction of expression. Drought stress affected the expression of transcription factors obviously. In different varieties, these transcription factors had strong variety specificity, and some similarity. Rice can improve the drought resistance by inducing and inhibiting the expression of transcription factors.
