Abstract:

To compare the absorption capacity of pig manure with different bedding materials, in this experiment, based on the technology of microbial heterotopic fermentation bed, the difference of fermentation technology, physicochemical properties of fermentation products and the ability to absorb feces between sawdust and rice husk were compared and analyzed. The results showed that under the condition of bedding moisture content of 70%, all the beddings could ferment normally. The temperature of bedding material increased first and then decreased, and the high temperature period above 55℃ of each cushion maintained for more than 20 days, the highest temperature of rice husk cushion reached 69.5℃. The pH value in the fermentation process of bedding material was weak alkaline, with the increase of fermentation time, the organic carbon content of different bedding materials did not change much, but the nitrogen content decreased continuously, and the phosphorus and potassium content increased. The sawdust cushion was more suitable as a bedding material for fermentation bed than rice husk, since its pig manure absorption capacity was twice of that of rice husk cushion,.
