Soil Enzyme Activity in Wetland Under the Background of Climate Change: Research Progress

Abstract: In order to understand and evaluate the dynamic changes of soil carbon and nitrogen cycling in wetland under the background of climate change. We reviewed the role of soil enzymes in wetland ecosystem and their spatial and temporal distribution characteristics, and discussed the effects of temperature rise, precipitation change, greenhouse gas emissions increase, and nitrogen nutrient environment change on soil enzyme activities. Based on this, it is concluded that soil enzymes play an important and complex role in wetland ecosystem; climate change significantly affects soil enzyme activities, and further affects the cycling process of carbon and nitrogen in wetland soil.
