Abstract:

Saline-alkali soil actinomycetes are highly resistant to stress. They are extremophiles that exist in high-salt and high-alkali areas. Their special physiological mechanisms and diversified metabolites have attracted wide attention in various fields. To effectively study the resources of actinomycetes in saline-alkali soil and their functional genes, it is important to fully understand the diversity of actinomycetes’ species in saline-alkali soil, and then choose the most suitable isolation method. This article summarized the geographical distribution and resource diversity of actinomycetes in saline-alkali soil in China, counted the new species of actinomycetes in saline-alkali soil from 2000 to 2021, summed up the main isolation and screening methods of actinomycetes in saline-alkali soil, and put forward a prospect for the future research work.

Key words: actinobacteria in saline-alkali soil, resource distribution, new species, isolation and screening
