Abstract: Results of field experiment showed that combined application of organic manure and fertilizers increased root vigor，reduced the decline of chlorophyll and protein content and the senescence of flag leaf，increased ear/tillering ratio, percentage of full grains，weight of thousand grains and rice grain yield. In addition, combined application of organic manure and fertilizers had positive effects on improving soil fertility and physical characteristics. In a word，combined application of organic manure and fertilizers is a effective measure of improving soil fertility and rice grain yield.
