Abstract: The effects of exogenous calcium on plant under salt stress are reviewed in this article.calcium could improve the salt-tolerance capability ,inhabit the production of active oxygen substances, protect the structure of cell plasma membrane and maintain normal photosythesis. The internal cellular Ca2+, moreover, act as a second messenger to transduct the salt-stress signal ,and regulate the physiological and biochemical responses in plant.
